A luxurious and spacious 2-bedroom flat in Mellieha, part of the exclusive Tas Sellum apartment complex. Our flat has easy access to the beautiful communal pool area (subject to seasonal maintenance and opening hours). Air conditioning throughout the flat, high-speed internet and a beautiful sea view all year round. Conveniently located on the seafront, close to the large sandy beach, restaurants, bars and shops.
Main Living Area
The main living area is an open-plan, social and spacious area. The furnishings are of high quality and equipped with everything you will need (and more) to enjoy a truly special holiday.
The large dining table with seating for 6 is perfect for those nights in with friends, busy family lunches or important board games!
The kitchen has everything you would expect from a first-class property, well equipped to feed and refresh a family or group of friends, all within a stylish and practical design.
The living area is the perfect place to relax after a long day in the sun, thanks to the comfortable sofa and 50-inch flat screen smart TV perfect for TV or movie nights! A large sofa bed can accommodate 2 more guests in comfort.
Exiting through the patio doors leads to the private balcony overlooking the beautiful communal pool area, with an ever-changing and endless backdrop of the breathtaking Mediterranean Sea. The balcony is equipped with a small table and seating, the perfect place to relax with a night cap and stargaze before going to sleep, or to enjoy your morning cup of coffee and breathe in the sea air.

Consisting of 2 spacious and bright bedrooms, all with air conditioning, high-quality modern furnishings, comfortable beds and ample wardrobe space for your stay. All bedrooms have French windows opening onto the balcony.

The master suite is a very spacious room with a large double bed and a large private bathroom with toilet, shower and sink. The size of the room is such that there is plenty of room for a cot or a small folding bed (which can be provided on request).

Access
The apartment is at your complete and private disposal.
For added convenience, access is facilitated by a self-check-in process. You will receive a secure link from which to upload your IDs and receive the instructions. Check-in hours are between 3 PM and midnight.

Neighborhood
The Tas Sellum complex is situated by the sea front near the popular tourist town of Mellieha, towards the north of the island. It boasts some of the very best restaurants in Malta and is centrally located to pretty much all of the best beaches. Please check our guidebook for full recommendations.
Within a 5 minute walk you will find a selection of bars and restaurants, as well as a local shop to stock up on the essentials.
Within a 10 minutes walk you will find Mellieha bay, Malta's biggest and best beach. Perfect for those of all ages as the entry to the water is very gradual so easy for the kids and the grand parents! Once on the beach you will be spoilt for choice whatever it is you need, wether it be food, drinks, water sports, inflatables, buckets and spades etc! It can get busy during summer months but there is plenty of space for everyone, but recommend arriving early to get a space at the waters edge.
A 15 minute walk will get you to Mellieha high street where you'll find a vast array of shops, bars and restaurants, some of which are the highest rated restaurants in Malta on tripadvisor. The walk to Mellieha high street is up quite a steep hill, but the buses are frequent.
A short bus/car journey and you'll be a able to visit other popular beaches such as Golden Bay or Paradise Bay, cultural sites such as the historical city of Mdina or even the Gozo ferry terminal.
Getting around
A secure garage/parking space is included with the apartment for all guests. If you don't have a car the Bus network in Malta is very good and there are multiple Bus stops within a few minutes walk.

Environmental Contribution
As announced in the 2016 Budget, the Government has introduced an Environmental Contribution on stays at all types of accommodation as from June 20th, 2016. The main objective of this Environmental Contribution is to improve quality along the tourism value chain. In fact, all revenue generated from this initiative will be directed solely and exclusively to upgrade and embellish the local infrastructure in touristic areas around the Maltese Islands. The contribution is payable by all tourists who are 18 years or older irrespective of nationality (including locals).
It amounts to €0.50 per person for each night spent on the Maltese Islands at any type of accommodation such as hotels, guesthouses, hostels, resorts, apartments, farmhouses, villas, timeshare and host families, amongst others.
The contribution is capped at a maximum of €5 for each continuous stay.
A heads up that during the nice season ants is a common problem on the island. We do provide ants traps and repellent spray which normally work well, but expect to see some ants during your trip!

Strictly no partying or loud noises. Please do not make too much noise when entering and leaving the flat in the evening and after 11 pm, as to respect our neighbours.
No outsiders allowed in the apartment without written approval, in order not to contravene the police regulations.
The final cleaning fee is intended as check out general cleaning. Keep the place reasonably clean and tidy and leave the kitchen cleaned (no dirty dishes and garbage left over). If not, please note that additional costs may be charged.
The septic system is very effective, however it will clog up if improper material is flushed. Do not flush anything other than toilet paper in the toilet. No feminine products should be flushed at anytime. If that happened and clog the septic system damages may be charged.
Lost keys or getting locked out: Euro 100 per key set for replacement.
For stays above 30 days and above the Client will be responsible for paying bills on top of the agreed Rental fee, at the end of the stay based on Client's real consumption.
Check-in time is from 3pm to Midnight with self check-in.
Any early or late check in must be requested and approved 24h before arrival.
Swimming Pool Waiver and Release of Liability:
• At no time is there a lifeguard on duty, you (the renter) are responsible for the safe operation of the pool and are responsible for all persons using the pool during your stay.
• The use of the pool facilities during your stay involves certain risks, including but not limited to:
1. The risk of injury resulting from possible malfunction of the pool equipment;
2. The risk of injuries resulting from tripping or falling over obstacles in the pool area;
3. The risk of injuries resulting from unsupervised divers and swimmers colliding;
4. The risk of other injuries resulting from participating in any action in the pool.
