Neighborhood
Vilamoura is one of southern Portugal’s finest resort towns - offering so much more than just stunning beaches and a glorious climate. Vilamoura was envisaged in the 1980s as an exclusive beach resort and elite golfing center, and today the town has matured into a stylish and modern holiday destination that boasts celebrated golf courses and outstanding tourist facilities.

Vilamoura has world class hotels, stunning beaches, and a fantastic tourist centre that is based around the marina complex with its varied selection of excellent restaurants and stylish bars. There is a lot to do within the region including boat tours, waterparks, historic towns to explore, and of course golf. The five 18-hole golf courses make Vilamoura arguably the best location for a golfing holiday in the Algarve.

The beaches of Vilamoura are beautiful, with soft golden sands and crystal clear sea waters that are safe for families, while the motorised water sports (jet skis, banana boats and parasailing) will entertain “children” of all ages. The Algarve is great for teenagers and older children, who will adore Zoomarine or the waterparks of Aquashow and Slide and Splash.

Transit
If you are coming by car, in the area in front of the house there are several free outdoor parking spaces. The apartment is in a central area, close to several restaurants, supermarkets and the beach. Renting a bike is also a good option, as Vilamoura offers excellent bike paths. Taxi and uber services are available as well.

***IMPORTANT, PLEASE READ PAYING ATTENTION***

TOURIST CITY TAX: In the Algarve, the tourist tax also applies to cities such as Faro and Vila Real de Santo António. In Faro, the rate costs 1.50 euros per person and is applied from March to October up to a maximum of seven consecutive nights, from the age of 12, the municipality advanced to ECO.
The lead guest must be over 21 years old and will be required to sign a short-term agreement upon arrival. That is for insurance, fiscal and legal purposes. All guests are required to show a valid identity card upon check-in, if not, they will not be allowed to enter (due to local Police regulations).

Strictly no partying or loud noises. Please do not make too much noise when entering and leaving the flat in the evening and after 11 pm, as to respect our neighbours.
No outsiders allowed in the apartment without written approval, in order not to contravene the police regulations.
The final cleaning fee is intended as check out general cleaning. Keep the place reasonably clean and tidy and leave the kitchen cleaned (no dirty dishes and garbage left over). If not, please note that additional costs may be charged. 
In Italian households there is an electricity power limit and if you use too many appliances at the same time the main switch might go off. Be sure to switch off the devices you were using before turning back on the electricity. The main switch looks like a white box and it will be shown to you upon arrival.
The septic system is very effective, however it will clog up if improper material is flushed. Do not flush anything other than toilet paper in the toilet. No feminine products should be flushed at anytime. If that happened and clog the septic system damages may be charged.
The municipality of Florence is classified in zone D. The activation period allowed for heating systems installed in zone D is from 1 November to 15 April
Building’s centralised AC are subject to limitations (normally AC is turned on from end of September to beginning of Spring.
Lost keys or getting locked out: Euro 100 per key set for replacement.
For stays above 30 days and above the Client will be responsible for paying bills on top of the agreed Rental fee, at the end of the stay based on Client's real consumption.

Check-in is facilitated through a self-service process using a lockbox starting at 4pm
